New York Tristate Chapter Seeks Volunteers for Board of Directors and Working Committees

We are currently seeking volunteers to join our Board of Directors and committees. We have open positions for the following:
VP of Program Development
VP of Sponsorships
Committee opportunities: Membership, Communications, Program Development, DEI and Finance
By volunteering, you will join an existing team of skilled, passionate and fun people to help us grow and lead the chapter into the future.
Eligibility is available to any full-time, active IABC member - no matter your tenure - seeking to grow your career and offer your time and services to further the Chapter, IABC International, and above all, our industry.
Like any company or organization, Chapter Board membership inherently possesses a level of responsibility beyond general membership, therefore volunteers should be able to commit between 20-25 hours a month to chapter management.
The benefits certainly make it worth the time commitment. As an organizational leader overseeing various aspects of the Chapter's business, Board and Committee members have an opportunity to learn new communication disciplines, enhance their people and project management skills, increase their industry visibility, and explore professional development and networking opportunities.
Also, Chapter Board members will have occasions to perfect their public speaking, writing and digital skills by creating chapter communications content and thought leadership. Additional benefits include direct access to the Leadership Institute and discounts to the Annual IABC World Conference.
